Have you ever encountered a woman in love? She glows. Her skin is positively radiant. She speaks with a wistful look in her eyes. She finds ways to insert a little detail about her new lover in every conversation that she has. It’s almost sickening to be around her yet at the same time—quite drawing.
A wise woman once told me, “Never tell another woman how good your man is to you.” Why not? “Because she’ll want to try him for herself.” Interesting…
How many of us are in love with the Savior? How many of us are blissfully & happily in love? How many of us are in that, I want to shout it from the rooftops type of love with the Savior of this world?
Is He not the type of man that every little girl dreams about? Hasn’t He rescued you from all of your trouble and pain? Is He not a good provider; trustworthy; doting; One who is always there to listen to your problems? They even tell me that He’s coming in on a white horse one day to defeat our greatest enemies! Why wouldn’t we be blissfully in love with Him? He’s actually perfect in all His ways!
Why doesn’t it show on our face when we talk to a friend causing her to think to herself, what is her man doing for her? We sing beautiful songs about Him in church but when it comes down to the reality of our lives, we walk like we don’t even know Him.
The good news is, if we don’t know Jesus in this way, we can still get to know Him in this way! We can get excited about our Savior. We can get into His Word and fall in love with the Savior today because He is good and He is loving and He is WAITING!
