PEACE SYMBOL or NERO’S CROSS: A broken, upside-down cross. To Roman emperor Nero, who hated and persecuted the early Christians, it meant destruction of Christianity. Revived in the sixties by hippies and others who protested nuclear weapons, Western culture, and Christian values, it now symbolizes a utopian hope for a new age of global peace and earth-centered unity. But many of heavy metal rock fans would agree with Nero and use it to mock Christ and His followers.
YIN YANG: A Chinese Tao picture of universal harmony and the unity between all opposites: light/dark, male/female, etc. Yin is the dark, passive, negative female principle. Yang is the light, active, positive principle. Since it represent monism (all is one) and pantheism (all is God), it opposes Christianity, which shows us that there is only one God (monotheism), and only in Christ can we be one. This symbol is very popular in children’s clothing, jewlery etc. It fits the consensus process, the vision of global unity, and the blending of opposing energies at the heart of Holistic Health.
BUTTERFLY: Reminds Christians of the amazing transformation that takes place through Christ’s redemption and regeneration. When “born again,” we become “a new creation.” (2 Cor. 5:17) To many pagans, its mythical meaning is linked to the soul (of the deceased) in search of reincarnation.”
ANARCHY: Popular among school aged children today, this symbol for anarchy fits the message that pervades the most popular video games, role-playing games, movies and television. The lines of the “A” often extend outside the circle. To many satanists and other fast-growing occult groups it represents their slogan, “do what thou wilt.” A former occultist explained that it represents the ASMODEAS: a demonic force driving teenagers toward sexual perversion and suicide.
ANKH: An Egyptian cross symbolizing a mythical eternal life, rebirth, and the life-giving power of the sun.
ALCHEMY: This simple 17th century “sign” illustrates the blending of geometric shapes — circle, triangle, square — representing the various “elements” needed for spells and magic. It’s interesting to note that some of the more popular occult computer games also involve “elements” needed for magic and spell-casting.
TRIQUETRA SYMBOL – Another symbol of the occult adopted by Christianity. This symbol is used to symbolize the Christian trinity doctrine, however this symbol was originally used to represent the Three-Part Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone). This symbol is used as a secretive sign by the Aquarian Conspirators (A New Age Cult) and appears on “The Aquarian Conspiracy” a New Age handbook. This symbol also appears on the popular TV show “Charmed” which promotes witchcraft and appears on the front cover of “The Book of Shadows” which is used in witchcraft and Satanism.
ALL-SEEING EYE: A universal symbol representing spiritual sight, inner vision, higher knowledge, insight into occult mysteries. Look at your $1 bill. Think that it is a coincidence that the Time Warner Cable logo is very similar to this eye?
Eye in top Triangle of the PYRAMID: Masonic symbol for the all-seeing eye of god – an mystical distortion of the omniscient (all-knowing) Biblical God. You can find it on the $1 bill. Many of today’s top Hip Hop artists also flash this sign. This is not a coincidence!
Scull & Crossbones: Okay, does this picture really need an explanation? However it is now on almost every t-shirt made for our youth. As well, many of the younger celebrities celebrate this symbol wearing it on their clothing, jewelry and as tatoos. Besides this symbol representing the secret society that some call The Illuminati, this symbol simply represents death and destruction
The above signs are just some of the more popular evil symbols that are popping up all over our world today. They’re on children’s clothing, popular games, cartoons, etc. To those who do not study popular culture and its effects, it may never have dawned on you that these symbols were rooted in Satanism. For some of you, even after reading the meanings of these symbols you may still be unmoved by them.
Why are they so important? And do I really think that wearing them means that you have taken on the mark of the beast? Yes and no.
I believe that the Word of God in Revelation 14:9-10 which seems to speak of a literal mark of Satan’s that if taken will bring about God’s wrath on that individual. I am not suggesting that wearing the above symbols is what this verse is referring to. However if we can just examine the word mark for just a moment:
Mark: 1. a line, figure, or symbol made as an indication or record of something.
2. a written symbol made on a document in place of a signature by someone who cannot write.
3. write a word or symbol on (an object), typically for identification : she marked all her possessions with her name
Simply put, a mark in this sense is used to identify who you are. Whose mark do you bear? Better question, whose mark do you allow your children to bear? Sadly these symbols are on so much of the children’s wear these days. It’s become so hard for me to shop for my own children because much of the clothing being made for them bear demonic symbols.
In the book of Ezekiel, God called for marks to be placed on the heads of those who were grieved by the sin of the people (Eze 9:4-6) so that they would not be destroyed with the others. The book of Revelations 13:16-17 says that the beast will cause the people to take on his mark to identify themselves as being in allegiance with him. I emphasize the word “cause” because the mark cannot be forced. It will be choice.
As stated earlier, I am NOT suggesting that the symbols above represent the mark that the Word of God speaks of in Revelation. What I am saying is the Word of God is clear when it speaks of the thief (Satan) coming only to steal kill and to destroy (John 10:10). Do not be naïve and think that it’s just a coincidence that these symbols are suddenly popping up everywhere you look for no reason. Is it really safe to think that you can play with the devil’s stuff without a consequence or a repercussion! Many of these symbols are used in occultic rituals! Exactly which part of “ONLY to steal kill and destroy” did you not understand?
If you are a parent, please be wise when choosing the images that you allow your children to bear. If you are a child, understand that the enemy is not skipping over you to get to the adults. You are who he desires to march in his army and you are who he desires to destroy.
Disclaimer: I am not a bible scholar and neither am I an expert on occultic signs and symbols so I invite you to go google crazy and study for yourselves the meanings of the symbols in popular culture.
